Alan Hill concernant Cracker Jack : “two foot longer than her sister  ships and with a counter stern not short transom she had one level  coachroof and differing cockpit layout” Wakering 33 © Jade 2014 Made with Xara Le Surita a été construit par Sutton and Smith en 1970, renommé Alligin of Oare   elle appartienait à Andy & Jill Larkins à Burnham on Crouch, vendu en 2013 à  une personne non connue.  Le Cracker Jack a été construit par Whisstocks (www.whisstock.com) of Woodbridge en 1973 sur commande de Dennis Redstall A.R.I.B.A.  Presque coupé en deux à “Two Tree Island” en 1976, suite à un  accident de grutage, il a été reconstruit par Whisstocks et fût  longtemps en dépôt l’hivers chez Johnson and Jago à Leigh-on-sea,  localisation actuelle inconnue.  Conçu en 1969 par Alan Hill, il a été construit en trois exemplaires, le Surita (1970,renommé depuis  en Alligin of Oare), l’Esther Ruth II (1971, renommé Jade) et le Cracker Jack (1973). les deux  premiers furent construit au chantier naval de Sutton and Smith à Great Wakering sur l’embouchure  de la Thamise, le dernier, un peu plus long (35 pieds) que les autres, par Whisstocks à Woodbridge.  Le plaisir d’être porté par le vent La découverte du bassin d’Arcachon avec un voilier facile à manoeuvrer a été une révélation et ce yacht est de toute beauté
